The Knightsbridge PME School of Cake
Decorating was
launched in 2004 with a mission to share its extensive knowledge of cake
decorating and with the help of highly talented teachers including
international authors, judges, contributors to magazines and gold medal winners
has grown to be one of the largest independent schools in the UK, regularly
attracting students from around the world. Our flagship school in Enfield,
London provides a large air conditioned classroom with flat screen televisions
to ensure that no detail is missed. In recent years we have also extended our
teaching program to include a school in Romford, London and to both of our
facilities in Aurora (Chicago), USA and New Germany, KwaZulu-Natal, South
Africa, ensuring and ever growing sharing of skills and knowledge.
PME Professional Diploma was introduced in 2006 providing a certificate course, divided into three modules, Sugarpaste, Sugar Flowers and Royal Icing & Piping with a Masters certificate awarded when all three modules have been successfully completed. The growth, demand and interest in these courses has been amazing and to date are now being taught by PME approved teachers in over 50 countries. 2016 has seen the introduction of the new PME Coat of Arms reflecting the global company status along with that of our students.
Cakeit with the popularity of education online 2013 saw the launch of this new brand specifically designed to cater for a new market of online learners. The website provides free videos, recipes and advice as well as the tutorials to accompany the Cakeit Kits.
In 2014 the Cakeit magazine was born, a free quarterly magazine that is designed to embrace the world of cake decorating for all of the family. With easy to follow projects, fun ideas and step by step instructions we will hold your hand from the very beginning and guide you along the road to success.
